It’s become such a nice ritual to knit one hat every month. At the first or second of each month, I like to take my time and search online for a beautiful hat pattern to knit. I knew that I wanted Bosc to be my hat for September, and I knew that I wanted it to be forest green. What’s better that this gorgeous color and some lace to finish this month and slowly move to October?
I really, really love how it turned out. After making the same mistake over and over, I had to rip it back several times until I finally understood what stitch markers were made for. The real problem with me, is that I always need to do something else while knitting: watching a movie, listenning to a podcast or thinking. And most of the time, it’s pretty hard to track what I’m doing.
Apart from these few troubles, the hat is perfect. I’d like to make it one more time, but with a different yarn ( I went really cheap this month: this is a 100% acrylic yarn… I confess, I’m really ashamed. But for my defense, beeing in a different country for just a few weeks, explains why I couldn’t find a yarn shop to purchase a beautiful skein of yarn for this project- please, don’t read my previous post).
