Japanese lifestyle: Lifecycling

I’ve always been inspired by japanese lifestyle. There is some kind of inexplicable serenity that arises from japanese houses, which makes them so appealing.

Lately I’ve tried to capture this serenity by watching (quite a lot) of indie japanese movies: at the top of my list: Rinco’s restaurant //Kamone dinner// The bread of hapiness// Glasses// To rent a cat

After receiving the last issue of Kinfolk magazine for my birthday, I got very inspired, (especially by the Amy Merrick article), and wanted to pick up some wild flowers in my favourite spot.

“Embrace mismatched colors and wild, foraged materials. Have fun and arrange loosely! Flowers look the prettiest when they seem to be growing out of the vase, so try not to cram them”.

This is funny how simple flowers can brighten up your whole house. They have such an amazing power on me: they can calm me down or make me want to create new things. That might be the reason why I have so many ideas in my mind these days!

Raw blueberry cheesecake

There’re a lot of beautiful colors in my kitchen today. Nothing can cheer me up more than a piece of a delicious pie and a glass filled with seasonned flowers. After seeing my blooming lilac (and the rain outside), I decided to make this delicious raw blueberry cheesecake recipe that I’ve found a few weeks before via her blog. As they say, don’t expect any leftovers..
